Colleges with Honors Programs

Honors colleges are how big public universities deliver a small-college experience inside a large institution. You get smaller seminars, priority class registration, honors-only housing, and often access to research opportunities normally reserved for grad students. For a strong student, a flagship state university's honors college can be a better deal than a mid-tier private — same caliber students, half the tuition.
