Test-Optional Colleges (No SAT or ACT Required)
Test-optional means the school will evaluate your application without an SAT or ACT score. This isn't just for low scorers — it's also useful if you didn't have time to test, your scores don't reflect your ability, or you're betting that strong essays + grades + activities will tell a fuller story. Verify the policy on each school's admissions page (some are permanent test-optional, others are still trialing).
